DeSpread is set to participate as a partner in Taipei Blockchain Week (TBW), taking place in Taipei from December 11th to 16th.
Organized by BU ZHI DAO, Taipei Blockchain Week is the largest blockchain conference in Taiwan. It will be a 6 days long event, with various events happening onsite, including TBW Hackathon, Scale Conference, Sora Summit and more.
1. TBW Hackathon: December 11–13th
TBW Hackathon will be supported by mainnets such as Sui, Binance Chain, Avalanche and Aleo. With a total prize pool of 26,000 USD, participants will be able to build different projects on top of various blockchain infrastructures.
2. Main Event: Scale Conference December 14–15th
The main event, Scale Conference, is anticipated to have more than 5,000 participants, including VC, projects, media, students and more.
3. Sora Summit: December 16th
Sora Summit, an initiative of Sora Ventures, will be covering 4 key categories — Bitcoin Utility, DeSci (Decentralized Science), Cryptography & Encryption, and NFT Utility.
This year’s TBW will include notable speakers such as Vitalik Buterin, Co-founder of Ethereum; Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase; Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-founder of The Sandbox; and Jeffrey Hwang (Machi Big Brother).
