DeSpread will participate as a gold sponsor and speaker at the WebX Asia conference, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan from July 25th. WebX Asia is an event organized by the well-known Japanese crypto media Coinpost and boasts the largest scale among crypto conferences held in Japan. In particular, the speech by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is scheduled and has garnered attention from many people.
Despite being one of the prominent centers for cryptocurrency trading in the past, the Japanese market faced a prolonged downturn following several hacking incidents at centralized exchanges like Mt. Gox and Coincheck. However, during this period, Japan has diligently worked on implementing robust regulatory measures concerning cryptocurrencies. With substantial capital and strong governmental support, Japan is now striving to make a comeback in 2023, aiming for a resurgence in the cryptocurrency market.
DeSpread has been actively working to bridge the information gap between the global market and the distinct languages and cultural nuances of the Asian region. Our efforts began with the Korean market in 2019, and now, by participating in the WebX Asia event, we aspire to expand our reach beyond Korea and establish meaningful communication with the Japanese market.
The primary WebX Asia conference is scheduled to take place over two days, from July 25 to 26, at the Tokyo International Forum.
